HYDERABAD: The last date for submission of filled-in application forms for Rajiv Swagruha, the phase II project of Rajiv Gruhakalpa for urban middle-class, has been extended to April 20 from April 10, an official from Andhra Pradesh Housing Board (APHB) informed on Monday. Till now, the APHB had sold 1.8 lakh application forms in the State, out of which it has received just 20,000 filled-in forms from applicants. Now, APHB has relaxed certain rules, due to which scores of applicants were not able to submit application forms before Tuesday.
Guidelines
According to fresh guidelines, submission of a pink card has not been made mandatory. Applicants who do not have a pink card could now submit an affidavit on a Rs. 10 stamp paper undertaking that they would submit the pink card within three months or before APHB gives them allotment letter. Self-employed peoplewho till now had a tough time getting their five years' residential proof certificate and income certificate from the local Mandal Revenue Officercould now submit residence proof and income certificates duly signed by two gazetted officers. Till now white cardholders were not eligible for applying. Fresh guidelines allow white cardholders to apply for the scheme provided they submit their white cards to the Civil Supplies Department for cancellation. Persons who do this would now have to submit the letter of cancellation of white card, written to Civil Supplies Department, while submitting application form of Rajiv Swagruha to APHB. Sons and daughters, whose name is in the ration card along with their non-earning parents, can now apply for the scheme. They now have to submit an affidavit on a Rs. 10 stamp paper undertaking that they would soon get a ration card on their name before the APHB gives them the allotment letter.
