Users of this service will be charged uniformly across the country

CHENNAI: Customers of Reliance Communications can now watch Sun TV programmes online on their mobile handsets round the clock.

Further, there would be network charges. Video clip download was also offered for customers, he added. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, he said his company was planning to bring audio of SUN TV programmes also on Reliance mobile handsets.

Reliance Communications officials said it had over 30 million customers across the country. Around 60 per cent of its customers were R World (Reliance Mobile World)-enabled. The SUN TV programmes, a release said, would be hosted on R World. In Tamil Nadu, Reliance Communications had a customer base of 26 lakhs, they said. According to Mr. Prasad, around 10-15 per cent of the network data comprise mobile content.
