Pranab resumes work from home

Police submit report to Government about accident

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday visited External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee at his residence to enquire about his health. Mr. Mukherjee is recovering from injuries he suffered in an accident.

Dr. Singh was accompanied by his wife Gursharan Kaur.

Mr. Mukherjee was discharged from hospital on Tuesday. The 72-year-old Minister resumed work from his home on Wednesday, clearing files and meeting officials and foreign diplomats. — PTI
