Roche brings Neulastim to India

CHENNAI: Roche Scientific Company (India) Pvt. Ltd. has announced the availability of the drug Neulastim (pegfilgrastim) in India. This will reduce the risk of infection in patients receiving chemotherapy by increasing the number of infection-fighting white blood cells. Neulastim is widely accepted after successful trials by oncologists across the world, as it increases the chances of patients to stick to their chemotherapy schedules, the company says in a release.
