Bandh at Sankarapuram

VILLUPURAM : A bandh was observed on Thursday at Sankarapuram to protest against the proposal to link the Assembly constituency with Chinna Salem. Following the call given by the Sankarapuram Anaithu Vanigargal Sangham, shops and business establishments remained closed for the day.

The representatives said the people of Sankarapuram were of the unanimous view that there should not be any name change of the constituency.
