Every year, the temperature during the day ranges between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius from the month of January onwards and crosses 40 degree Celsius during the months of April and May, when summer is at its peak. Four killed
The accident took place when their car fell into a roadside ditch. The police have identified the victims as Nalinikanth Gujjar (70), a merchant from Bagalkot, his wife Shobha (64), daughter-in-law Preethi (29) and granddaughter Akshara (7). Nikesh Nalinikanth Gujjar (32) and his son Kunja (2), who suffered multiple fractures, have been admitted to a private hospital in Bagalkot. The family had been on their way back to Bagalkot after visiting Mahalakshmi Mandir, a famous temple in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Staff Correspondent
