Rajahmundry: Minister of State for Defence M.M. Pallamraju has asked the Opposition not to politicise the Babli project issue which is an inter-state water dispute. Addressing a press conference here on Thursday after returning from Agni-III test fire function, he said that Ministers and MPs from the State appraised to the Prime Minister and the Minister concerned of the situation. He said that inter-state water disputes were not new and they should be resolved amicably. When asked about the developmental activities, he listed some of the activities like establishing Second Coastguard Station at Kakinada, bringing back ONGC into Special Economic Zone at Kakinada and gas pipeline project, which will commence with ONGC support.
