Khushboo launches ice-cream enriched with calcium in Bangalore

Bangalore: The brand's USP is calcium-enriched ice-cream.

Yes, it is summer and what better time than to launch an ice-cream.

In the already over-crowded market, Kwality Walls launched its brand, Moo, with the USP that it is enriched with calcium.

Actor Khushboo along with nutritionist Lalitha Somasundar launched the vanilla and chocolate combination.

Khushboo confessed her kids had feasted on Moo at the Chennai launch and she didn't mind as long as they got their quota of calcium this way.

Sailesh Venkatesan, Category Head, Ice Creams, HLL, said Moo aimed to provide enjoyable food with added nutritional benefit.

Ms. Somasunder said the ice cream is derived from low fat milk and has no saturated fats. The ice-cream contains about 54 calories per stick, has a calcium content of 240 mg and vitamin D of about 3.5 mg.

A 60 ml stick is priced at Rs.10 and a 900 ml take home pack is priced at Rs. 80 and will be available at retail stores across India.
