`Police should change image'

KOCHI: City Police Commissioner Manoj Abraham has said that the force should work towards changing its image for better.

Delivering the inaugural address at the 24th district meet of the Kerala Police Association Kochi City on Thursday, Mr. Abraham said efforts should be taken to strictly enforce law with polite manners.

The city should progress towards implementing community policing and for this complete cooperation was need from beat-level constabulary onwards. All service-related complaints of the personnel would be settled in three months, he said.
