Ready to go to jail: Paloli

MALAPPURAM: Minister for Local Self-Government Paloli Mohammed Kutty said here on Friday that he was ready to face imprisonment if the court convicted him for contempt. Responding to the High Court's rejection of his apology in a contempt case, Mr. Mohammed Kutty said he did not regret the court move. The Minister said there was no change in his opinion about the courts.

However, he did not wish to wage a battle against the judiciary, Mr. Mohammed Kutty said and added there was no need to resign.
