Chennai Cheetahs, BRFC in last four

BANGALORE: Archrivals Chennai Cheetahs and Bangalore Rugby and Football Club stormed into the cup semifinals of the e4e South India 10s rugby championship chalking up big wins in the league at the CMP grounds here on Saturday.

Chennai Cheetahs crushed Assetz Refugees 35-0 and later thrashed Bangalore Tigers 48-0.

Skipper Emil Vatzaran was outstanding for Chennai Cheetahs with six tries.

BRFC drubbed Chennai Irish 27-0 and then humbled Tamil Nadu Police `2' 29-0. Puneet top-scored with four tries for.Corps of Military Police (CMP) and Tamil Nadu Police `1' also made the last four in the Cup division, while Assetz Refugees, Bangalore Tigers, Chennai Irish and Tamil Nadu Police `2' will play the bowl semifinals.
