Dumka:
The Jharkhand police on Saturday seized from a bus here 3,000 detonators, 400 gelatin sticks and 48 kg of wire.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team stopped the bus on its way from Deoghat to Rampurhaat in West Bengal's Birbhum district and seized the explosives from five passengers, DSP Charu Lakra told a press conference.
The five persons three from Birbhum and two from Murshidabad district of West Bengal were arrested. The police were investigating whether there was any naxalite link to the seizure as naxal posters were recently found in Dumka district. PTI
