Five-wkt. win for Urumu Dhanalakshmi

TIRUCHI: S. Shanmuga Sundaram scored 95 as Urumu Dhanalakshmi College defeated Neptune CC by five wickets in a Tiruchi DCA first division league cricket match here.

The scores: First division: Super Sonic CC 164 for nine in 39 overs (N. Vijaya Kumar 46 not out) bt NIT 121 in 31.4 overs.

Neptune CC 142 in 41.4 overs lost to Urumu Dhanalakshmi College 143 for five in 35.1 overs (S. Shanmuga Sundaram 95).

Supersonic 156 for nine in 42 overs (K. Bala Sundaram 48 not out, A. Albert John Pradeep four for 37) lost to St. Joseph's College 160 for six in 29.1 overs (R. Dharshan 55 not out, E.M. Jose Mithun 50).

Second division: Southern Railway 97 in 18.3 overs lost to Majestic CC 99 for five in 13.1 overs (V. Chidambara Ganesh 41 not out).
