Mohun Bagan rallies to win

Kolkata: Mohun Bagan came back from behind to pip arch-rival East Bengal 2-1 in an exciting National Football League match, played in the presence of FIFA president Joseph Blatter, at the Salt Lake Stadium on Sunday.

Douglas Silva Dos Santos struck the winner eight minutes before the final whistle to give Bagan three valuable points and boost its tally to 16 points from 13 games.

Earlier, Brazilian Edmilson Marques put East Bengal in the lead with a goal from the penalty spot before Jose Barreto drew parity.
