BANGALORE: Mangalore Basketball Club defeated Rangers (Mysore) 22-20 in the State sub-junior basketball championship here on Sunday.

The results: Boys': Chanderi SC bt Vijayanagar (Hospet) 13-12; VBC (Mandya) bt IBBC 35-22; Mangalore BC bt Rangers 22-20.

Girls': Mounts Club bt Vimanapura 30-12; N. Shetty BC bt Raj Mahal 31-18.
