Two employees robbed of Rs 2 lakhs

BHUBANESWAR: Three unidentified miscreants snatched away about Rs 2 lakhs from two employees of a patato supply company based in Medinapore in West Bengal at Aiginia Square under Khandagiri police station here on Monday morning.

The employees, Jayadev Patra and Sadan Gorai, were on their way to railway station when three miscreants armed with lathis stopped their auto-rickshaw and snatched the suitcase containing Rs 2 lakhs, Khandagiri Inspector-in-Charge Sashi Bhusan Satpathy said.

Four other passengers in the auto rickshaw were witness to the crime.
