BSNL customer meet

BSNL customer meet will be held on April 23 from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. at offices of BSNL Area Managers, according to a press release. Customers can send their complaints pertaining to matters related to service, commercial and billing to their respective area managers by April 18. They can also meet him in person to solve the problems.

Workshop on personal excellence

Hyderabad Community College is organising a five-day workshop on `Personal excellence' from April 23 on its premises in Himayathnagar. Graduates and post-graduates in any discipline can attend. For details contact: Madavi Kala- 6662-3262.

Computerised certificates

The computerised certificates pertaining to registration of nurses, midwives, auxiliary nursing midwives, public health nurses (B.Sc. Nursing) and health workers are being issued from April 2.

The Director of Medical Education and president of Andhra Pradesh Nurses' Council said in a press release that the Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department had issued G.O. 17 on the subject.

Advanced tailoring course

Kamala Nehru Polytechnic for Women will conduct courses on `Zardosi and advanced tailoring' for economically backward women from Tuesday on its premises and other Community Polytechnic Extension Centres, according to release from the institute. The courses are designed for three months duration and there is no tuition fee for the courses. For details: 6558-4751.

Yoga classes

Arya Samaj, Saidabad, is holding a weeklong free yoga classes from April 18 to 25 for all persons above 15 years. The classes will be useful for people suffering from ailments like obesity, blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, joint pains and even mental disorders, the release issued by Arya Samaj said.
