KOZHIKODE: The Calicut University Ex-Footballers' Association (CUEFA) is on the lookout for strikers from Kozhikode, Wayanad, Malappuram, Thrissur and Palakkad. An exclusive camp for young forwards will be held at Thrissur in the first week of May. It is aimed at students of Class X, Plus One and Plus Two. "We will select 20 players and they will be given training by former internationals and renowned coaches," said Victor Manjila, former Indian goalkeeper and secretary, CUEFA. "There won't be any fee and will provide free accommodation and food. A few years back, we had conducted a camp for goalkeepers, which was very successful. We hope to identify some promising strikers from this camp. After all, Kerala has always produced talented strikers." For details, call ph: 94478 33052 & 94462 51829. Principal Correspondent
