Water being released in NSP Right Canal

GUNTUR: The Irrigation Department has released water from Nagarjuna Sagar Project through the Right Canal and would continue for a week, Minister for Cooperation Kanna Lakshmi Narayana said on Tuesday.

On a request from the farmers in the region during Praja Patham Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah decided to release water from Monday and this would help farmers save their standing crop.
