YSR releases book on plans for zones

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy spent two hours in the city on Tuesday and participated in a string of programmes, starting with the release of a book titled `Towards Planned Development-2021 (Profiles of Zonal Development Plans-Volume-I)', brought out by the Vijayawada Guntur Tenali Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority (VGTM-UDA), immediately on his arrival at the Gannavaram airport.

VGTM-UDA chairman Malladi Vishnu and vice-chairman Y. S. Prasad explained to Dr. Reddy the ZDPs and the plans drawn by the UDA to lay new roads to ease traffic congestion in the city.
