Mahabubnagar: Minister for Employment and district incharge Mminister G. Vinod assured thart steps would be taken to solve the problems being faced by vegetable vendors and farmers at rythu bazar. As part of Praja patham programme the Minister visited rythu bazar and vegetable market here on Tuesday. The farmers at rythu bazar and vegetable sellers at the market said that they were facing drinking water problem. Due to non-availability of platform they are also facing problems in selling their produce. They also informed the Minister about the poor and unhygienic conditions prevailing in the market. Responding to the problems of farmers, Mr. Vinod announced sanction of bore with motor to mitigate the drinking water problem. The Minister asked the district Collector V. Usha Rani to submit the plan of action for construction of vegetable and meat market. He directed municipal authorities to take measures for ensuring cleanliness in the area. MLA Puli Veeranna, Municipal Chairperson Obedullah Kotwal, district Collector V. Usha Rani, Municipal Commissioner A.V.V Bhadra Rao and others also participated. Later, the Minister, participating in a similar programme at Ayyavaripally village in Midjil mandal, promised to construct gram panchayat building and sanction of a 33/11 K.V substation. He called upon the people to discourage child marriages and stressed for education of children.
