HYDERABAD: The police on Tuesday found gold ornaments weighing more than a kilogram and several silver articles in the bank locker of Sarasa Devi, the alleged kingpin in Sarva Shikshya Abhiyan (SSA) scam.

A special team of Crime Investigation Department took Sarasa Devi, who is presently in their custody, to Vijaya Bank's Ameerpet branch and opened the lockers that she held in the names of her son and daughter. Meanwhile, probe is on to collect details of the nearly 10 bank accounts Sarasa Devi had maintained in her name and those of her family members. Investigation revealed N. Subrahamanyam, SSA's suspended employee and her accomplice, had four bank accounts.
