dated April 19, 1957: President's call

Soon after the swearing-in of the new Central Cabinet, the President, Mr. Rajendra Prasad, said in a message to the AIR that the formation of the new Ministry under Mr. Nehru after the second general elections marked a big step forward in the establishment of democracy in India. He said the new Ministry would be faced with many big problems and their solution would also need the help and co-operation of the people.
