`Funds released for water supply'

Bangalore: Minister for Rural Water Supply S.A. Ravindranath has said that the State Government will release adequate funds to deputy commissioners in the districts to take care of drinking water supply in the drought-hit villages.

The Minister told presspersons here on Wednesday that Rs. 50 crore had been released recently to the deputy commissioners and if need be, more funds would be released.
