MANGALORE: The Mangalore LPG Import Facility (MLIF) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) has been observing Fire Services Week, and a function was organised at the Kadri Fire Service station on Thursday as part of the week, according to a press release from Chief Manager of MLIF Shailesh R. Rao. HPCL authorities donated a safety kit to the Kadri Fire Service Station on the occasion, which was aimed at handling of emergencies resulting from LPG tanker accidents. The authorities also arranged for a demonstration on the proper usage of the safety gadgets available in the kit for the benefit of the fire services personnel.
