India loses again

CHENNAI: India slipped to its fourth straight defeat in the pre-Olympic football qualifiers, losing 0-2 to North Korea in the Group E `away' match at Pyongyang on Wednesday (April 18).

According to information reaching here, Nom Jal scored twice for the winner in the 58th and 78th minutes.

Korea had beaten India by an identical margin in the first meeting held here on March 28. The victory helped Korea top the group table with 10 points.

India next meets Iraq here on May 16.
