Rain likely in T.N. CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Kerala and Lakshadweep. They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala, south Tamil Nadu, above normal at one or two places over rest south Tamil Nadu, rest Kerala, Rayalaseema, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably below normal at one or two places over Telangana, north interior Karnataka, below normal at one or two places over rest Telangana, rest north interior Karnataka, rest south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Forecast (valid until Saturday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Telangana, Rayalaseema and interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
