CHITTOOR: Members of the district unit of Lok Satta Party conducted Jana Rajakeeya yathra from Ambedkar statue, darga circle, to Gandhi statue on Prakasam road here on Thursday against urging people condemn the corrupt political system for the welfare of the country. Venkat Reddy, convener, State election council of the Lok Satta, alleged that affluent people were occupying important positions in all political parties and they were working with selfish motive instead of serving the people. Money & liquor played prominent role in the elections with such persons getting elected to the posts. There was no scope for a good-natured common man to contest the elections because they did not have sufficient money. He said that Lok Satha Party was founded with the objective bringing about a change in present political system and take it within the reach of common man who would work for the welfare of the people.
