KOTTAYAM: Scores of passengers had a miraculous escape when a bus caught fire near Ponkunnam on Thursday afternoon. The private bus bound proceeding from Ponkunnam to Chunkappara had reached Chirakkadavu when its diesel-tank fell off and caught fire. The local people helped the passengers escape. However, two personswere injured in the melee.
