Computer training for jail inmates

KOLLAM: The first phase of the computer training programme for the staff and inmates of the District Jail has been termed a major success. The programme was an effort by the District Jail authorities in association with the TKM College Trust. The programme was launched on February 13.

The Superintendent of the District Jail, B. Pradeep, informed that the valedictory function of the programme would be held in the jail complex on Friday. The function will be inaugurated Inspector General of Police (Prisons) B. Baburaj.

On the occasion, president of the TKM College Trust K. Shahal Hassan Musaliar will give away certificates to those who had attended the programme.
