Nominated: The head of the Department of Life Science, Calicut University, K. Fathimathu Suhara has been nominated to the syndicate of the University of Kerala as the representative of the executive council of the Higher Education Council.

Date extended: The last date for submitting applications for revaluation of the answer sheets of the second semester B.Com Travel and Tourism Management, Tax Procedure and Practice and Computer Applications examinations has been extended to April 30.

B.Com practical: The practical examination of the B.Com Electronic Data Processing and Computer Applications-Paper II will be held on April 24 at Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, Christian College, Kattakkada, Sree Sanakara Vidyapeedom College Nagaroor, MM NSS College Kottiyam, FMN Collge, Kollam, and SN College, Cherthala. The examination will be held on April 25 at DB College Sasthamcotta and National College, Manacaud. On April 25 and 26, the examination will be held at St. Cyril's College, Adoor. On April 26, the examination will be held at Immanuel College, Vazhichal, AJ College of Science and Technology, Thonnakkal, and PMSA Pookoya Thangal Memorial Arts and Science College, Kadakkal. The examination will be held on May 3 at Government Women's College, Thiruvananthapuram; on May 3 and 4 at Government College, Attingal, and at the St. Michael's College, Cherthala. At VTM NSS College, Dhanuvachapuram, the examination will be held on May 4 and 8, at SN College, Chempazhanthi, and KVVS College of Science and Technology, Adoor, on May 8; at SN College, Chengannoor on May 9; at the Iqbal College, Peringamala, on May 9 and 10 and at Haji C.H.M.M. College of Advanced Studies on May 10. The detailed timetable can be had from the examination centres.

BHMS: The results of the second BHMS examinations (old and 2003 scheme) held in January have been published. Applications for the revaluation and scrutiny of answer sheets can be submitted till May 10.

LLB results: The results of the second semester LLB (five-year) examinations held in October 2006 have been published. Applications for scrutiny and revaluation can be submitted till May 21.

MA Arabic: The contact classes for the first year MA Arabic course offered by the Institute of Distance Education (IDE) will be held from April 25 to May 5 at the Karyavattom campus from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mercy chance: The final MA Hindi (annual scheme last mercy chance) special paper two originally scheduled on April 16 will now be held on April 20. The M.Com mercy chance examinations scheduled on 10 will now be held on April 20, while the M.Sc. examinations will be held on April 23 and 25, respectively. The MA examinations scheduled on April 10 will now be held on May 14 respectively.
