Jai Kishan Sharma elected

NEW DELHI: Jai Kishan Sharma, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the previous Municipal Corporation of Delhi, will be the Leader of the Congress party in the newly elected MCD. The decision was taken at a meeting of the newly elected party Councillors at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee office on Thursday.

A majority of the Councillors disclosed their preference for Mr. Sharma for the post.
