Dress code suggested

Special Correspondent

Bangalore: Higher Education Minister D.H. Shankaramurthy feels that our schools and colleges need not only moral education but also a dress code to ensure that the younger generation is on the "right path".

Speaking to reporters on the sidelights of the discussion on sex education, the Minister said a dress code should be evolved through discussions rather than imposed through a Government Order. The discussions should involve "positive thinking people" and not "troublemakers", he said.

The former MLC K. Narahari also spoke in favour of a dress code in schools and colleges.
