Boy killed in accident

GUNTUR: A three-year old boy, Ch. Manikantha, was run over by a speeding bus at the Palavai gate in Rentachintala mandal on Friday morning.

According to Sub Inspector M. V. Subba Rao, the bus belonging to the Newton's Engineering College hit the boy, who was playing on the road in front of his house, killing the boy on the spot.

A case was booked against the bus driver.
