Special bus, train services for air show

CHENNAI
: Special services will be operated on Sunday by the Southern Railway on its Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) and by the Metropolitan Transport Corporation for the visitors to the Marina beach to view the air show by the Indian Air Force.
Week day services will be maintained on the Chennai Beach-Tirumailai-Tiruvanmiyur MRTS section from 1.35 pm, the Southern Railway said in a press release.
The MTC, in a press release, said special bus services would be operated from the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus in Koyambedu, Villivakkam, M.K.B. Nagar, Perambur, Ambattur, Avadi, Tollgate, Tiruvottiyur, Ennore, Kelambakkam, Velachery, K.K. Nagar, Tiruvanmiyur, T. Nagar, Kaviarasu Kannadasan Nagar, Guduvanchery, Tambaram, Ayyapanthangal, Poonamallee and other places to Marina. At the end of the show, being organised as part of the IAF platinum jubilee celebrations , the MTC would operate services to various locations from Marina.
