Ultratech net at Rs. 782 crore

CHENNAI: Ultratech has achieved a net profit of Rs. 782.28 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 against Rs. 165.46 crore in 2005-06. Net sales were higher at Rs. 4,910.83 crore against Rs. 3,227.70 crore. The operating profit has increased to Rs. 1,479.27 crore from Rs. 549.49 crore. For the quarter ended March 31, 2007, the company has achieved a net profit of Rs. 231.54 crore on a turnover of Rs. 1,465.52 crore against Rs. 81.50 crore on a turnover of Rs. 1,022.36 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year.
