`She is not on rolls of Victoria Hospital'

Bangalore: The case against Mr. Renukacharya for and harassing a Government staff nurse, Jayalakshmi, has taken a new turn with Minister for Health and Family Welfare R. Ashok stating that she was not on the nursing staff of Victoria Hospital. Soon after receipt of information about the case, officials of the Health Department were asked to verify the antecedents of the nurse. She was not on the rolls of the government hospital. "Otherwise, the Government would have taken action, especially since she was said to be the secretary of a private nursing college."
