Journalists condemn attacks on media

New Delhi: In the backdrop of the attack on the Star TV office in Mumbai, journalists at an open forum here on Saturday condemned such attacks and said scribes in smaller centres were more likely to face such violence. Apart from the recent attack on the Star TV office, there have been consistent attacks on the freedom of the media and journalists in smaller towns, said Rahul Jalali, President, Press Club. PTI
