Power shutdown

There will be no power supply on Sunday between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. in some areas. The affected places include Chokkasandra village, Dasappa Factory Road, part of Peenya Industrial Area Phase II and III, complete Peenya Industrial Area, Vidhana Soudha Layout, Kaverinagar, Lakshmidevi Nagar, TVS Cross, Vijaya Steel, Dasappa Road, Narayanapura, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Cross Peenya, Chikkasandra village, ABB Road, Narayanapura, Umrey Engineering, GERB Controls and FFI Industries.

Free classes

Women's World will conduct free short-term and long-term classes in ceramic, stain glass painting, vegetable carving, napkin folding, designer candles etc. from April 24. For details, call at 23148393.

Unveiling of statue

Lumbini Gardens, the entertainment centre on the banks of the Nagawara Lake on Hebbal Ring Road, will display a rare collection of photographs depicting Rajkumar's achievements, on Monday. A bronze statue of the matinee idol will also be unveiled on the occasion.
