Woman battling for life

BANGALORE: Knocked down by a motorcyclist near SBI Circle on Museum Road here, a severely wounded woman is battling for her life at the Mallya hospital.

The victim was still in the hospital late on Saturday night.

The police were clueless about her identity.

Run over

It was around 11 a.m. when the motorcyclist ran over the victim who was crossing the road.

She suffered severe head injuries and was rushed to the hospital by the Cubbon Park Traffic Police.

With nothing to prove the victim's identity, the police flashed her photograph in the media.

She is fair, about 20 to 25 years of age, and wore a red and black "chudidaar."
