KANNUR: Driver of a jeep was killed and six passengers in the vehicle were injured when it collided with a lorry on the National Highway, near Valapattanam, here on Monday. The deceased has been identified as K.P. Johnson, 34, of Vellarikkundu in Kasaragod. The accident occurred when the jeep coming from Vellarikkundu hit the lorry in the early hours of Monday. The injured have been admitted to hospital here.
