Cheating: two Government officials held

Thiruvananthapuram:
The Pettah police have arrested three persons, including two Government clerks, on the charge of faking salary certificates for procuring personal loans from nationalised banks. The accused were identified as `Aama' Sasi, 48, of Karickakom, Ajith Kumar, 52, Upper Division Agricultural Department clerk hailing from Poojappura and Vattappara Joy, 45, lower division clerk attached to the Kerala Water Authority.
The accused were produced before the court on the charge of cheating and forgery and remanded to 14 days in judicial custody.
