World Hindi meet in U.N.

New York: Over 1,000 delegates and a host of dignitaries are likely to attend a three-day 8th World Hindi Conference, scheduled to open at the United Nations headquarters here on July 13.

The meet, sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, along with the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan here and many other organisations, is expected to attract delegates from across the world, Minister of State for External Affairs Anand Sharma said. — PTI
