Jubilant buys Hollister-Stier

NEW DELHI: Pharmaceutical firm Jubilant Organosys has acquired U.S.-based Hollister-Stier Laboratories for $122.5 million (about Rs. 500 crore) in one of the largest takeovers in contract manufacturing sector by an Indian company. The purchase price for the existing business (base business) is $122.5 million in cash, a release from Jubilant said.
