Teledata to invest Rs. 250 crore in PC unit

CHENNAI: Teledata Informatics will invest Rs. 250 crore for setting up a PC manufacturing unit in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The capacity will be 12 lakh units and the plant will be operational by the third quarter of the current year. The company has reported a big jump in its turnover at Rs. 1,095.21 crore in the year ended March 31, 2007 against Rs. 232.02 crore in the previous year. The net profit has risen sharply to Rs. 316.19 crore against Rs. 75.52 crore.
