Jayalalithaa stand
on Cauvery
In a statement here, she said Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's remark that the final order of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal could be nullified and Tamil Nadu would suffer a huge loss if the issue was taken to the apex court, was wrong. She said that the AIADMK did not subscribe to the view that the State should first file a reference petition before the tribunal instead of moving the Supreme Court directly. Official minutes of the meeting would prove this point, she said. Special Correspondent
