GUNTUR : Two Congress workers were allegedly done to death by TDP followers at Mettagudipadu in Guntur on Tuesday. Gottam Kotireddy, 35, and Gottam Bakki Reddy, 40, were at the house of Rayam Nagi Reddy when TDP workers attacked them with pick-axes and hurled country bombs, the police said. Bakki Reddy fell unconscious and died in a hospital. Kotireddy tried to flee, but the assailants caught him and axed him to death. The police said that the two were accused in the murder of TDP men Boya Venkateswara Reddy and Gottam Ramakotireddy at Gurazala.
