KOZHIKODE: The Calicut Bar Association, in a resolution adopted at a meeting here on Tuesday, appealed to the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court to suspend Chittur Judicial First Class Magistrate N.V. Raju for not sanctioning bail to an advocate, Haridas P. Nair, and keeping him imprisoned for eight days. The advocates would observe April 27 as protest day. V.C. Geeta Mani, association president, presided.
