BHUBANESWAR: The All-India Democratic Students' Organisation (AIDSO) has sought deletion of a portion of the new Social Studies book of Class 10 that allegedly describes Bhagat Singh and Chandrasekhar Azad as terrorists. The AIDSO said that on page 141 of the book it was described that these leaders terrorised people to achieve their political goals. Their activities were equated with the attack of the World Trade Centre, militancy in Kashmir and attack on Indian Parliament, AIDSO secretary Ashok Mishra said in a statement here. "Bhagat Singh, Chandrasekhar Azad, Surya Sen, Binay Ghosh, Sukdev and Rajguru are revered martyrs of the country," Mr. Mishra said. He threatened to stage demonstrations if the "mistakes" were not rectified.
