CHENNAI : Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital on Tuesday opened a new centre in Triplicane.

The primary eye care centre, established at a cost of Rs.25 lakh, has facilities for diagnosis and preventive eye care. It was inaugurated by Additional Director General of Police (Economic Offences Wing) Archana Ramasundaram. The opening of the centre is a part of the hospital's yearlong golden jubilee celebrations and focus on decentralising its patient service. "It will reduce travel time for patients," said Amar Agarwal, joint managing director of the hospital.
